Terms of Use

What we do, and what we do not.

These terms govern the POLİÇEK marketing site and the use of the POLİÇEK application. The language is deliberately plain; if a clause is unclear, ask us rather than assume.

Last updated: 30 September 2026

1. What POLİÇEK is

POLİÇEK is a DECISION-SUPPORT platform that analyses insurance policies for regulatory compliance, scope and risk profile. It reads the document, extracts the coverages, exclusions, limits, deductibles and special terms it contains, runs them through deterministic rules, and puts the points that could change your decision in front of you together with their source.

2. What POLİÇEK is NOT

This clause should be read before the others; the product's boundary matters as much as its definition.

  • POLİÇEK is NOT an insurer, agency, broker or loss adjuster, and carries out no insurance intermediation of any kind.
  • It RECOMMENDS no insurer, product or agency. It takes no commission, referral fee or advertising revenue from any company.
  • It does NOT sell policies, does not collect quotes, does not enter into contracts on your behalf and does not run your claims.
  • Its output is NOT legal advice, insurance advice or a loss adjuster's report.

3. The nature of the output, and the primacy of the policy

The report cards, reports and findings POLİÇEK produces are for information and decision support. Your legal relationship is determined by your insurance policy, its general conditions and its special terms.

If POLİÇEK's output ever conflicts with the policy wording, THE POLICY PREVAILS. If you need certainty about the scope of a cover, ask your insurer or agency for WRITTEN confirmation.

4. Known limits of the engine

Stating a tool's limits is part of making it trustworthy. The following are not defects; they are accepted boundaries of the design.

  • “Not found” and “does not exist” are not the same thing. If a clause is not written in the document the engine will not show it — yet general conditions impose obligations on every policy that the document does not repeat.
  • The layer that reads the document is an AI model and can misread a sentence. That is why every finding is shown bound to its source sentence in the document — you can verify the reading.
  • The layer that produces the decision is deterministic: the same policy under the same rule set yields the same result every time. The rule-set version is printed on every output.
  • The report card score measures the policy's INTERNAL CONSISTENCY; it does not measure whether the policy suits you.
  • Extraction accuracy drops on scanned or low-quality documents. A confidence level is shown on every analysis.

5. Accounts and access

POLİÇEK accounts are created by invitation. Keeping your credentials confidential, using two-step verification and being responsible for activity carried out through your account are yours.

In corporate use, authorisation of accounts opened in your organisation's name rests with your company administrator.

6. Documents you upload

By uploading a document you represent that you are entitled to have it processed. Do not upload documents containing third parties' personal data without the legal basis to do so.

Your documents are processed for the purpose of analysis. Certain identity fields (national ID number, phone, email, full address) are stored MASKED in the system.

The text of scanned documents (without a text layer) may be processed by the Microsoft Azure Document Intelligence cloud service for optical character recognition (OCR); its servers may be located abroad. The recognised text is not stored; only recognition statistics are kept.

Where parts of a document cannot be read by code, their text may be sent to Anthropic's (Claude) cloud service for AI-assisted analysis; its servers may be located abroad (USA), so this processing may involve a transfer abroad within the meaning of Article 9 of the KVKK.

Documents you upload and the analyses produced from them are kept until you or your company administrator delete them.

Technical performance measurements, such as page load and interaction times, are collected without being linked to a user or an IP address and are kept for 90 days.

Responses to the optional in-app satisfaction survey are stored without being linked to your identity, with only role and day, and are deleted after one year.

You are responsible for uploading a complete and current document. A policy with missing pages, or the wrong document, can produce an incomplete or misleading report card; the engine flags information it could not read, but it cannot always tell that a page is missing from the document altogether.

7. Intellectual property

The knowledge-base catalogues, rule sets, analysis engine, interface and the texts on this site belong to POLİÇEK. You may freely use and share the output relating to your own policy; reproducing the product itself, reverse-engineering it, or using it to build a competing service is not covered by that permission.

8. Availability and changes

The service may be interrupted temporarily for maintenance and development. Rule sets and catalogues are updated as regulation changes; an update may produce different findings for the same policy, and that is expected behaviour.

If these terms change materially, we will inform you before the change takes effect.

9. Limitation of liability

POLİÇEK is not responsible for the consequences of decisions you make on the basis of its output. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service.

This limit does NOT affect cases of intent or gross negligence, nor your rights under consumer legislation.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Türkiye have jurisdiction. If you are using the service as a consumer, your right to apply to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts is reserved.

11. Contact

You can send questions about this text through the form on the contact page. For requests concerning your personal data, please use the application email address given in the Privacy and Data Protection Notice.

Cookie preferences

Strictly necessary records cannot be switched off, because the page will not work safely without them. The only optional item is your browser signature (User-Agent); while it is off, that field is never written. The raw IP address sits outside this switch: it is recorded on every non-bot visit, on the legitimate interest basis, and the reasoning is set out in the cookie policy.

Strictly necessary

The form's bot protection and remembering your choice in this panel. Cannot be disabled.

Detailed visit record

Turn this on and your visit record will also carry your browser's full signature string (User-Agent). Page counting is independent of this switch and works without cookies. The raw IP address is NOT tied to this switch — it is recorded on every non-bot visit.
